Being a maker based in the heart of Sydney’s historic Rocks quarter came with a whole lot of love!
As I was working on the steampunk display cabinet today, I had lots of people drop by and ask me about what I was making. It was a great opportunity to share the journey of creation.
As you can see, I’ve constructed the frame for the windows on all 6 sides that stretch up from the octagonal base. In constructing the pitched roof, I’ve allowed for 5 circular peeper windows along the longest 2 sides and 1 small circular peeper window each atop the 6 smaller sides. (Just in case you couldn’t understand what I was trying to explain in my last post!)
