This Sir Round-a-Sound, commissioned by our client Catherine, is made by utilising a 1920’s clock case. The shell is finally coming together and…it will be the first audio device made by SteampunkWayOfLife to have a steampunk remote control.  The metal shaping involved in bringing its embellishments and other components to fruition has been an adventure. More and more, the aesthetics of the original case are dictating how the final Steampunk piece looks.

The green knob on the front is a glass dome and is lit up from the inside with a green LED.  When the unit is off, the dome turns white. I’m liking the effect but I’m still to have a chat with Catherine about finalising it…
